At North Shore Community Action Programs, the health and well-being of our clients, our staff, and the community is our top priority. It is for this reason that we have chosen to postpone, indefinitely, this year’s fundraiser gala that was scheduled to be held on May 15th, 2020. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the Coronavirus and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our clients and our community as the situation evolves.
We continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation and are here to assist our clients as needed. We are taking additional measures to keep our office space in the best sanitary condition; such measures include increased access to hand sanitizers, frequent wiping down of desks, tables, counters, and computers. We are continuing conversations with healthcare professionals about any additional measures and we are following the recommendations of local leadership and guidance from the CDC.
We share empathy and concern for those displaced, disrupted, or forced to change plans beyond their control; including schools, programs abroad, and military families.
