DESCRIPTION:North Shore Community Action Programs\, Inc. (NSCAP)\, Northeast Legal Aid\, Inc. (NLA) and the Northeast Justice Center (NJC) will be conducting a half-day training on basic landlord/tenant law. \nWednesday\, May 17\, 2017\n12:30 PM to 4:00 PM\nNortheast Housing Court\, Courtroom D\, 4th floor\n56 Federal Street\, Salem MA\n\nComplimentary lunch will be served. \nThe training will be presented by landlord/tenant law experts and Housing Court staff.  We are also honored to have a view from the bench presented by Housing Court Chief Justice\, Timothy F. Sullivan. \nThe training and materials (Legal Tactics: Tenants’ Rights in Massachusetts\, Judge David D. Kerman’s Bench Memorandum\, a hard copy of the PowerPoint presentation and additional materials provided by the trainers) are FREE in exchange for a commitment to volunteer at six Lawyer for the Day sessions in the Northeast Housing Court (Lowell\, Salem\, Lynn or Lawrence) by May 17\, 2018.
