Since 2003, River House has offered shelter to those in need. River House provides a safe place to sleep, a filling supper, and a fortifying breakfast to up to 34 individuals each day.

Guests find more than shelter at River House, where the caring and committed staff works to help them find jobs, permanent housing, and medical care.

The staff also helps guests access benefits, such as those for veterans, senior citizens, and the disabled.

In 2009, River House served more than 225 individuals.

River House serves the towns of Beverly, Salem, Wenham, Danvers, Peabody and others.
